AVE Digital Co-Founder Ani Avetisyan and Co-Founder & Business Development Director Pio Marolla recently participated in the symposium “Artificial Intelligence: Perspectives and Opportunities,” organized by the Faculty of European Languages and Communication (ELC) at Yerevan State University.

Their presentation, “The AI Dilemma: Preserving Character and Individuality in the Age of Automation,” explored a question that is becoming increasingly relevant across industries, universities, and everyday life:

As AI becomes more integrated into how we work and communicate, what remains uniquely human?

The discussion focused on the balance between technological advancement and individual thinking. While AI continues to transform the way people learn, create, and solve problems, the presentation emphasized the importance of maintaining independent thought, personal perspective, and character, especially when automation is becoming increasingly accessible.

A significant part of the presentation centered around personal branding and the role it plays in helping individuals communicate their values, ideas, and unique way of thinking. Rather than viewing personal branding as self-promotion, the session encouraged students to see it as a way of developing a clear professional identity and building credibility over time.

One of the highlights of the event was the level of engagement from the audience. The presentation was followed by an active Q&A session, where students raised thoughtful questions about AI, career development, personal branding, and the future of professional communication. The discussion reflected a strong curiosity about how emerging technologies will shape both opportunities and challenges for the next generation of professionals.

As AI continues to evolve, discussions like these become increasingly important. Because while technology may change the tools we use, the ability to think critically, communicate authentically, and develop a unique perspective remains one of the most valuable skills anyone can build.
